Forgotten Post

This post is going to count for July 29, since I was exhausted last night and totally forgot to blog.

I decided to do this in a form of a poem since yesterday was yesterday and a poem might be fun to spice this blogosphere up.

Independence Struggles
As her parents drove off she realized this was not just another day
Worrying about electric and other bill she would have to pay
But it's not just financial troubles that have her down in the dumps
It's the pressure of worrying, of having your own water to pump
No one to rely on except for some strangers
When her twisted thoughts send her dreams into danger
And while excited to take these next leaps
For sure she will long for the days of simple sleep
Where worries lay up a flight of stairs
And her room was hers, the walls postered or bare
So as this day is soon to be missed
By a time so consumed with cities and students who are pissed
She'll just lay her burnt back to rest
And forget the times when she acts like less than her best

Daily Hero: The beautiful colors that surround us in the world, there is nothing like seeing a plate diversified with different shades, delicious and beautiful
